Tucked away on the edge of St Lucia’s tropical jungle is this hippy-chic retreat, with a relaxed Balinese vibe, a fabulous spa and its own dive school. The boutique hotel’s guest rooms are housed in colourful beach shacks that cling to the bluff, among banana trees and swaying bamboo. Set above the sweeping black-sand bay, they all have ocean views and wonderful verandas, complete with rocking chairs and double hammocks. Many have their own private rock pools and all have quirky outdoor showers amidst lush tropical planting; you’ll feel like you’re bathing in a rainforest waterfall.
