When you really want to treat yourselves to the best, then this itinerary offers every indulgence … everyone deserves to spoil themselves just once!
Start in Florence, where you’ll stay in the 5 star Monastery with imposing views of the City below. Staying in the exceptional Limonaia Suite, you’ll enjoy complete privacy, with your own garden and stunning vista of the City. Unwind at the hotel’s heated swimming pool, complete with waterfall, before exploring the sights of Florence, Pisa and northern Tuscany. Evenings are civilised affairs with cocktails and dinner taken beneath the cloisters of the Monastery with the twinkling lights of Florence below.
Then continue on to Rome, where you’ll stay at The Club. This luxury hotel offers an unrivalled position directly opposite the magnificent Colosseum. The elegant boutique hotel is richly furnished and, and unlike many luxury hotels in Rome, the service is impeccable and personal, which creates an air of a private club rather than a hotel. All the major sights and shopping quarters are just minutes away, and the private roof top restaurant is the perfect place for an evening cocktail with the sun setting behind the Colosseum.
Head south again to The Oasis Villa on the Amalfi Coast, where a champagne dinner awaits you. From your private hot-tub on the terrace of the penthouse Imperial Suite, you'll enjoy stunning views of the twinkling lights of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Spend your days relaxing by the pool or at the private beach, or exploring the pretty towns dotted along the dramatic coastline. A drive in the hotel’s vintage Alfa Romeo Spyder along the famous Amalfi coastal road is not to be missed, or drink in the views with a helicopter tour. There’s no better place than the stylish island of Capri, just a 20 minute boat trip away, for a day's people-watching and designer shopping.
Then transfer to The Tower hotel in rural Puglia. Staying in the Orange Garden Suite, you can unwind in your own private plunge pool and gardens or in the lagoon-style pool and spa. The gourmet food is a delight here and you can even steal some of the chef's secrets with a morning's cookery course in the converted chapel. If you're feeling more active, take in a round of golf, go horse-riding, biking or sports fishing. Romantics will charter the private crewed yacht, which you can even take out for an overnight cruise.
Prices from £1559 per person, based on 3 nights in each property in Standard Double rooms, with 2 sharing on B&B basis. Supplements apply for the Suites and activities described.
